What are we all doing with the profusion of basil that's NOT slowing down???

Green RRR is a Pesto Obsessed Household - we eat it with pasta, meat, or eggs. The freezer holds several ziplocs full of it for winter. Now it's soup szn and I'm feeling creative.....

Ideas??

So many Dolly Partons heading south before the cold arrives. 🧡 THIS is why we plant zinnias, marigolds, and wildflowers every year!!!

Go play. You have an acre and a half to run around and explore. No, don't eat the chicken $h!t!! Ugh, that's nasty. Get off the patio. GO PLAY. There is an entire yard full of places to go and wondrous things to sniff. Not that, put that down. Why are you staring at me? Go be dogs. I have work to do and I cannot accompany you everywhere. Go find a bunny or chase a squirrel. Do you know how many dogs in the world don't have a great life like you do? Get outta here. Entertain each other. Go find something to do. You're still staring at me? Omg, you two are pathetic.

Can't believe it's already zinnia fadeout season! Powdery mildew hit mine hard in mid-August. Gathering the buds as they brown and droop in order to save seeds, add to fall compost, and press for lovely artwork.

Anyway, if anyone wants to talk about how hot it is in Missouri or how much the sun sucks, that's like my favorite topic. Hit me up and we can b*tch about it like icy cold vampires and talk about snow or something.
