Happy Endless Roots Farm CSA pick up day, and Happy Thursday. How are you all doing today, I hope you are feeling terrific, full of energy and joy. I am feeling pretty good myself. I am getting both my produce order today from Endless Roots Farm and my mushroom order from 3rd Kingdom Mushrooms and I also have a fresh batch of croissants ready to roll out and proof this morning, so that makes me very happy. I am not sure what my soup will be today, but I will have one, and lots of other goodies.

Happy Thursday Everyone, and Happy Endless Roots Farm CSA pick up day.

Fall crops are starting to roll in, and as ever, I am totally stoked about this. I have been devouring roast acorn squash for breakfast every day this week, and it is soooo good. My daily feasting comprises pretty much of snacking on veggies, as I am prepping them, or when they are freshly cooked. One, because i want to make sure they are seasoned correctly, and cooked to how I want them, but too, they are such a delectable treat, I have always adored the phrase 'Dirt Candy' which is the name of my favorite restaurant Dirt Candy, in NYC, a woman owned Michelin star all veggie restaurant. For me, veggies are the absolute best, and I am constantly so excited and thankful that I have access to such incredible ones, and out here, thanks to the incredible hard work and dedication of our local farmers, we get to enjoy them too.
Today I will have more Tiramisu Cupcakes. These were the absolute surprise stars yesterday, and so I will have plenty more today. It is a V gf vanilla cupcake, filled with chocolate ganache, my cahsew tiramisu filling, espresso icing and whipped cream, sprinkled with powdered cocoa. I also have a few more slices of dairy free Tiramisu, which is made with eggs cashews, espresso and Kahlua.
kale Smoothies with Ashwagandha, banana and oatmilk are also happening, along wealth a whole amazing selection of local veggies, mushrooms, sprouts and goodies. Thank you to Jim's Farm Produce, Endless Roots Farm, 3rd Kingdom Mushrooms, and Wild Notion Farms.

Spicy tomato sandwiches are back at Maximum Zen Bakery!! 🙌🏻

Hello Friday, good morning and hello.
Well yes, Spicy Tomato Sandwiches are finally back on the menu, in all their zesty glory. The Spicy tomato sandwich is basically a perfectly simple thing. Sliced glorious beefsteak tomato, from Endless Roots Farm, with delectable eggplant bacon, lettuce, spicy mayo, between two slices of toasted wholegrain bread, served with a side of slaw and veggies. This is an edible love letter from me to the absolutely amazing local produce available in this area, and the folk that grow and produce it.
I also have lots of other delicious, nutritious and tempting foods available today. I have a magnificent new batch of Mushroom Danish, and Spicy Lions Mane Mushroom Tacos , made with mushrooms from 3rd Kingdom Mushrooms, salads, wraps, burgers and more.

What an absolute splendid wealth of incredible healthy, delicious food we have available to us here, all thanks to so much hard work, dedication and commitment to the incredible local farmers and growers who make this all happen. Once again huge shout outs to Endless Roots Farm, Jim's Farm Produce, Braces family orchards, 3rd Kingdom Mushrooms, and Wild Notion Farms who make it all come together for me to be able to share it with you.
