Can’t make this up 🤦♂️
This might be one of the craziest CWD19 policies I’ve seen. Missouri now has a feed, salt, and mineral ban across most of the state, but somehow there’s an exception if it’s within 100 feet of a house. So apparently CWD can’t spread by the salt lick in the backyard, but if a hunter puts a mineral site on the back 40, now he’s the problem? That tells you exactly what this is really about. They are not stopping everyday backyard feeding. They are targeting hunters and calling it disease management. The same fear-based logic, and the same politicians at the top of these agencies acting like the boogeyman is going to get us unless hunters give up more and more every year. Do they not realize how bad this makes them look?
