Skeeter may have gotten a little carried away with the construction project… but we have some big news!

Camp LIGHT has received an incredible $200,000 donation towards our new dining hall, and now we’re challenging our community to help us match it.

Thank you so much to our volunteer group from Grace Christian School for spending their Pass It On Service Day helping us get things looking festive for our Christmas Wonderland at Creative Works Farm 2026! They helped get Santa’s workshop ready for his visit, lined the path to Mrs Claus’s gingerbread house with giant lollipops, and more. We appreciate all of your hard work!

WANTED: A Few Very Special Christmas Characters!
Christmas Wonderland at Creative Works Farm is looking for a few merry (and slightly mischievous) folks to help bring the magic to life!
SANTA CLAUS — NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS!
We’re looking for a jolly, kind-hearted, authentic Santa to help us kick off Christmas Wonderland over Thanksgiving weekend—with opportunities to fill in on other dates, too!
Must possess:
A genuinely jolly spirit
An authentic white beard
A kind and welcoming voice
A natural way with children
The ability to make kids feel like they’ve just stepped into a Christmas story
A good sense of humor
And, of course, a little Christmas magic
Don’t have a Santa suit? No problem—we have one!
Background checks will be completed because keeping our little visitors safe is part of the magic. ❤️

Every Grinch needs a backup plan.
We’re looking for someone willing to shadow our Grinch, study his grinchy ways, and learn the trade in case he comes down with a case of the ker-sniffles, accidentally injures a wamboozle, or otherwise finds himself unable to fulfill his Grinchly duties.
Ideal candidates should have:
A soul full of gunk
A smile with just the right amount of termites
A natural talent for grumbling
A questionable relationship with Christmas cheer
The ability to look suspiciously annoyed while surrounded by happy children
…and, most importantly, a willingness to embrace your inner Grinch.
No previous Grinch experience required. Training provided by a certified professional Grinch. 😉
If you’ve ever thought, “I could totally be Santa…” or “I was born to be a Grinch,” this may be your moment.

We are also looking for other volunteers to help make Christmas Wonderland at Creative Works Farm 2026 magical! Volunteers are needed to help with different stations like cookies and hot chocolate, wagon loading, selling pizza and drinks, Santa’s Elf helpers, interactive characters, and much more. Christmas magic is officially underway! A HUGE thank you to the volunteers from Waynesboro VA Stake - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for spending the morning helping us get ready for all the holiday fun!
Special thanks to Delegate Chris Runion & his wife Jennifer and President Schill for joining the festivities! From clearing paths for Santa and the Grinch to decorating Reflection Hall, you helped sprinkle Christmas cheer everywhere! We’re so grateful for your time, energy, and holiday spirit!
