A year of movement, independence, courage, and forward momentum.

But here’s the thing about momentum…

It doesn’t always start with motivation.

Sometimes it starts with putting your shoes on when you don’t feel like it. Showing up when it’s inconvenient. Doing the work when nobody is watching.

And sometimes it’s just two people throwing on weighted backpacks and deciding to get moving.

You don’t have to have everything figured out to take the next step.

You don’t have to feel ready.
You don’t even have to feel motivated.

You just have to be willing to move.

Because the life you want isn’t built by waiting for the perfect feeling. It’s built through the choices you make over and over again.

The Fire Horse might symbolize freedom and momentum, but you’re still the one holding the reins.

Change is hard, we have all heard that at some point and we can be guilty of carrying that same programming that has left our desire for change as scary and just a hope that one day it will be easy.. are you ready for change??

You probably don’t make bad decisions.
You make really good decisions for the emotion you’re trying to avoid.

Read that again.

Sometimes we say yes because we’re avoiding guilt.
We stay quiet because we’re avoiding conflict.
We over-explain because we’re afraid of being misunderstood.
We control because uncertainty feels unsafe.
We walk away first because rejection would hurt worse.

And then we call it our personality.

“I’m just a people pleaser.”
“I’m just independent.”
“I’ve always been an overthinker.”
“That’s just how I am.”

Maybe.

Or maybe it’s a strategy you got really damn good at.

Want to know two emotions that can make an absolute mess of your life when you let them make your decisions?

FEAR and ANGER.

Not because either emotion is bad.

Fear can protect you.
Anger can tell you a boundary has been crossed.

They’re messengers.

But they make terrible CEOs.

Fear says:
Don’t try.
Don’t leave.
Don’t speak up.
Don’t risk it.
Stay where it’s familiar.

Anger says:
React.
Prove it.
Punish them.
Say the thing.
Make them hurt like you hurt.

And suddenly an emotion that was trying to communicate something is running the whole damn show.

The goal isn’t to never feel fear or anger.

It’s to become aware enough to hear the message without handing it the steering wheel.

That’s the work we do at Free Bird Alchemy.

Awareness first.
Choice second.
Change follows.

We simply made a transition

Somewhere along the way, Kodi and I became more fascinated with people.

Why do we repeat patterns we swear were done repeating?
Why pressure can bring out a completely different version of us.
Why some relationships get stronger while others slowly fall apart.

The more we learned, the more we started noticing.

You might even begin recognizing some of your patterns as you follow along here.

Things you thought were just "who I am," might start looking a little different.

And you may find yourself wondering...

Where did I learn that?

Is that actually me, or is that just a strategy I've practiced for a really long time?

And what becomes possible when i choose something different?

That curiosity changed the direction of our work.

So 633 ranch became Free Bird Alchemy and now we work with the people that are ready for more in their lives.

Maybe.

Do something long enough and eventually it starts to feel like you.

But learned doesn’t mean permanent.

Most people never chose the life they’re fighting to protect.

You didn’t choose your name.
Your conditioning.
Your fears.
The way your nervous system triggers when someone shifts their tone… because in the other room years ago your body learned that loud meant unsafe.

You didn’t choose the rules you were handed.
The “realistic” dreams.
The version of success that kept you exhausted but acceptable.

Most people are living inside patterns inherited from people who never stopped long enough to ask:
“Is this actually me?”
