Spring Ridge Farm - Eggs Farm Fresh Eggs by the 12- or 18-pack, by appointment only at this time. Between the hours of 7:00 a All of our chickens free-range during the non snowy months.

Our 13 happy hens are Crested Cream, Barred Rock, Lavender Orpington, and something black with chestnut flecks that is a mixed breed that I can't recall. We also have two very well-behaved roosters, one is a Crested Cream and the other is a mix of Lavender Orpington and Barred Rock. The photos below are from last summer, these days their eggs are mostly shades of green or blue, and all of them hav

e beautiful homemade yolks. Eggs can be picked up in Corinth or Orono, both by appointment only at this time.

Just picked up 6 young hens! 2 Blue Cochin (light brown eggs), 2 Olive Egger (olive eggs), and 2 Black Copper Maran (chocolate brown eggs)! 🥰🥰🥰🤩 Tucker and the ladies said hi through the bars and they'll go up on the roost at bedtime tonight under cover of darkness. Penobscot Poultry takes biosecurity seriously and we're grateful not to need to quarantine these new girls. Fingers crossed for lots of new eggs soon! 😍 We keep them until they cross over the rainbow bridge so we always have lots of freeloaders. 😉
