🐏 🐑🐑 This week at Wooly Bully Sheep Ranch, we had the pleasure of hosting NC State Cooperative Extension agents from several counties for an Agent’s Field Day!

It was a great opportunity to share hands-on sheep management practices and spend the day talking livestock, pasture management, and practical producer education. Topics and demonstrations included:

• Animal movement & handling procedures
• Health and wellness evaluations
• Vaccination protocols
• Parasite management strategies
• Blood drawing demonstrations
• Hoof trimming
• Silvopasture systems
• Temporary & electric fencing setup and management

We appreciate everyone who came out, asked questions, shared ideas, and spent the day learning with us. Events like this are a great reminder of how valuable collaboration and education are to the future of agriculture.

🐑🌞 Market morning with the Wooly Bully crew!

We’re downtown in Southern Pines by the park until NOON today — come hang out with Recon and Pete and stock up on fresh lamb! 🐾

Today’s lineup includes:
• Ground lamb
• Loin chops
• Soup / pet bones
• Organ meat

It’s Sue Stovall and Ellie at the Saturday market this morning. Rain won’t last. Either will Lollipop chops.
We are back in the park! I am along the broad street side.

It’s always fun setting up in the rain but it seems to have slowed quite a bit, we’ll be at the armory until 1230 today. If you miss us this morning we’ll be back at it Saturday morning or you can find all of the same offerings at the ranch if you contact us and make an appointment to come out for pick up! We will be at market until 1230 today, we are sold out of lollipop chops and kebab meat but have plenty of ground lamb, loin chops, soup bones, and organ meat (great for pets). If you’re out and about in Southern Pines this morning stop by and see Pete for lamb and say hi to Recon!

Recon will be one of the many dogs that are in Southern Pines today during the Farmers Market and Springfest, he loves getting pets so you should come see Pete for lamb and pork then give Recon a big scruff! Pete has limited quantities of lollipop lamb chops so get there early but has plenty of ground lamb and lamb loin chops. Also this week he has ground pork sausage, bacon ends, and pork chops!

Pete and Recon are spending the morning in downtown Southern Pines today at the farmer’s market and can’t wait to see you! Go see them before they sell out to get loin chops, lollipop chops (hot commodity!), kebab meat, and ground lamb. They also brought some ground pork sausage if you want to try some Wooly Bully sausage.
