This is a female we’re excited to have in our herd. She brings a pedigree we really like, and being exposed makes this one even more exciting as we look toward the future.

We really like what this guy brings, and we’re starting to get pretty excited about what we’re seeing on the ground. He’s still young and has plenty of developing to do.

Had a pretty good week at the Missouri State Fair with these girls!
Lizzy placed 3rd and 4th in class with her does and 2nd in class with her wether.
Lola placed 6th in class with her doe and 6th with her wether.

Couldn’t be more proud of both of them. They’ve put a lot of work into these goats.

We also got to spend some time with good friends.

Made the trip to Hummel Livestock and had Lap AI performed on several of our does!

A huge thank you to everyone at Hummel Livestock. They were incredibly helpful with advice on selecting the right bucks for our breeding goals, answered all of our questions, and made the entire experience easy. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming—you really felt like family from the moment you walked in.

Now the waiting game begins! We’re excited to see how these crosses turn out and can’t wait to meet our December kids. Here’s hoping for a great kidding season

The 2026 Texas County Fair Goat Edition has officially come to a wrap, with Lizzy shining bright as the proud winner of Grand Champion Wether, Doe, and Buck, while Lola achieved an impressive 1st in class and 3rd overall Wether.
