An evening of music, movement, local makers and of course, honey! Don't miss out! More details coming soon, but if you never check back with us after this post mark your calendar for August 1st, bring something to sit on and come ready to hang!

We can't wait to share more about the vendors you will be seeing in the field this year for White Lake Honey Fest!, but for now here's a sneak peak! You may recognize some work and faces from our previous years!

We're looking for a couple more vendors to slide into the field. If you or someone you know are interested, email us!

We have lots to share with you, like the amazing vendors for White Lake Honey Fest! and the blueberry blossoms and the new fruit trees, but we’ve been totally consumed with the mosquito plague of 2026. Hundreds of mosquitoes came pouring into our house making the farm inhospitable for multiple days this week. Between this, that, and the other thing, we’ve been able to return back to the house. Hoping to get back on track this week 💪🏽 without getting demolished (physically or mentally) 🦟🤪

With all the water we’ve been having the trails to the blueberries have been rather inaccessible by foot. They’re finally drying up so we took a walk back and things are really budding out, and abundantly! It’s hard to say how the season will go, but for now we relish in the beauty of buds and the unknowns of the growing season that is upon us.

Straining last year’s St. John’s Wort oil infusion 🌼 I used to harvest this herb exclusively at my parents’ house, but with the storm that took out so many trees a couple of June’s ago, she popped up alongside our driveway. Happy to have it so close to home and looking forward to its return this summer.

Our mentors drilled into us the “make do economy” where before purchasing anything new, you look around and see if you can make something work with what you already have.
So here is an attempt to keep deer out of what we call the “up garden”. Oma had quilting scraps and we figured if nothing else, we’ll be able to see if they push it all down in their attempt to get a snack 🚩🦌

Kin! My aunt and uncle were in town for the weekend and my aunt brought her work clothes and helped us do some planting in the hoophouse and front garden. With our garlic crop and some other early crops, over half of the beds are now filled with food thanks to our kin!

The maternal energy is running deep around here 🤘🏼❤️‍🔥 Norma has been trying to sit eggs for weeks, but I wasn’t sure about that adventure, plus our eggs are sterile. After seeing her dedication, I couldn’t say no. So, we grabbed four eggs from my Mom’s flock and slid them underneath her. Here’s to hoping for our gal!
