We had such a good time last Saturday with Little Sprouts on the Farm!
We visited the animals, planted seeds, sang songs, and had so much fun!
I’m looking forward to our summer session Saturday August 8th! There are still a few openings so if your Little Sprouts would like to come explore the farm sign them up soon!

Yes my ladies are cool like that! 😎
Some of our laying hens spend their summer out on pasture and sleep in this vintage camper at night. This year I have added this electric netting fence to help deter predators. 🤞🏼

It was our pleasure to host a tour of the “Eat Real” group and staff from Montague schools and other MAISD. We love working closely with our local schools including Montague to share what a small farm can do for the local food system and to teach others where food comes from!
We are happy to be a part of getting local, healthy foods into our schools’ cafeterias!!

On my way to tell everyone who will listen that kids playing outside IS productive ☀️
Fresh air, movement, sunshine, dirt, imagination, problem solving, confidence, better sleep, calmer moods…

It’s not “just playing”, it is childhood development.

Research continues to show that outdoor play supports kids’ mental health, creativity, focus, resilience, physical health, and social skills. Outdoor, free-play is not wasted time, it is how children grow. 🌿

Sometimes the best thing we can do is tell them to go play outside!
