Okay, THAT was a night. 🎹🔥

Keys on Main made their Prohibition Cellars debut Thursday night, and from the first song to the last, the whole room was LIT.

The requests kept coming. People started singing. Hands were in the air. And the moments when the whole room joined in were the absolute best.

It was a ridiculously fun night.

Everyone lingered. No one seemed quite ready to
leave. We loved hearing how much fun everyone had—and how many of you immediately asked when we were doing it again.

And the answer is: they’re coming back October 8!

Thursday is bringing a little more happy to your Happy Hour this week. 🎹🍷

Our featured Happy Hour pours are our 2024 Sauvignon Blanc and 2022 Petite Sirah, pouring all day at both tasting rooms—and if you’re joining us for Dueling Pianos in Woodinville tonight, the Happy Hour specials keep pouring through the show!

🥂 2024 Sauvignon Blanc — $9/glass

This isn’t your typical all-stainless Sauvignon Blanc. We split the w**e between stainless steel, neutral and new oak, and our mosaic barrel made with Hungarian oak and acacia. That mix gives it a little more texture and dimension while still keeping the freshness and aromatics we love in Sauvignon Blanc.

🍷 2022 Petite Sirah — $12/glass

From Heart of the Hill Vineyard on Red Mountain, this full-bodied red is rich and earthy, with plum, chocolate and plenty of spice. Petite Sirah isn’t something you see on every tasting menu, and if you like a powerful red with plenty of character, this is a fun one to try.

And just like that, another two varieties are making their way from vineyard to w**ery to tasting room this week. 🍇🍷

Today we harvested our Merlot from Red Willow Vineyard, and Sandor will turn right back around tonight to pick up our Syrah from Les Collines Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley tomorrow.

Which means…we have this weekend’s grape-and-w**e pairings!

We saved some freshly picked Merlot clusters today and will do the same with tomorrow’s Syrah, so this weekend in both Woodinville and Tacoma, you’ll be able to taste the freshly picked grapes alongside our finished Merlot and Syrah and see what you can find in common between grape and glass.

And if you’re visiting us in Woodinville, you can take the experience one step further. We’ll also pull samples of the Merlot and Syrah from the w**ery, so depending on how far fermentation has progressed by the weekend, you may get to taste the must—or catch it just as it begins its transformation into w**e.

Fresh grape → must → fermentation → finished w**e.

Not a bad way to experience harvest without having to clean the equipment afterward. 😉

Sometimes getting the shot requires a little help from the w**emaker. 😂

We wrapped up a day of harvest today with one of those Woodinville skies that makes you stop in your tracks—a gorgeous, electric pink-orange sunset that was pretty hard to ignore.

I had already headed home without getting a photo of this week’s Happy Hour w**es, so I called the w**ery, where Sandor and Christin were still processing the Sauvignon Blanc that had come in that day, and asked if they could take one for me.

Christin saw that sunset and had a vision.

There was just one problem. The bottles sitting on the table outside weren’t nearly high enough to get much of that beautiful sky into the shot.

Cue Sandor. 😂

Not exactly a romantic, sunset-filled backdrop, but an A+ for effort—and our featured Happy Hour w**es got their moment in the sunset:

🥂 2024 Roussanne — $9/glass

We’re down to the last four cases! Roussanne isn’t a variety everyone knows, but this is such a good w**e for that transition from summer into fall. We split it between Hungarian oak and stainless steel, giving it lovely richness and texture while keeping plenty of freshness. If you like aromatic whites with a little more body, this is a fun one—think honeysuckle, jasmine and ripe peach.

🍷 2022 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon — $12/glass

This Cabernet showcases what Red Mountain does so well. The fruit comes from Heart of the Hill Vineyard, and the w**e has that combination of dark fruit, structure and savory character we love from the site, with black cherry, graphite, bay leaf and cedar. Full-bodied and unmistakably Cabernet, but with plenty going on beyond just being big.

September at Prohibition Cellars. 🍇🍷🎶

Harvest officially began yesterday, and September is about to bring it into full swing!

As freshly picked fruit starts making its way through our w**ery, we want to share a little bit of harvest with you too. On weekends throughout harvest, we’ll be bringing freshly picked w**e grapes into both tasting rooms so you can taste the grape alongside the finished w**e.

Taste the grape. Taste the w**e. Can you taste what that grape might become? 🍇→🍷

And September is bringing something completely new to Prohibition too.

🎹 Keys on Main Dueling Pianos makes its Prohibition Cellars debut September 10!

We’re bringing one of Seattle’s premier dueling piano companies to Woodinville for a high-energy, all-request show featuring two grand pianos and two extremely talented musicians playing and singing your requests all night long.

If you’ve never experienced dueling pianos before, this is a night you don’t want to miss—and if you already love dueling pianos, you know exactly why we’re so excited!

And this isn’t a one-time thing: Keys on Main will be back every second Thursday of the month.

And so it begins. 🍇

Today, August 31, we officially kicked off our 10th harvest at Prohibition Cellars!

First through the doors: Furmint and Lemberger from Red Willow Vineyard, with the Lemberger destined for our 2026 Rosé.

And with that, harvest is in full swing. Sauvignon Blanc and more Lemberger are coming later this week, and four more picks are already lined up for next week.

Luckily, this year we have a little extra help from the youngest member of the Faludi harvest crew. 😉

100% problems → 0% problems? If only it were that easy.

But a Thursday afternoon spent unwinding over a good glass of w**e? That we can help with.

Meet up with a friend. Put your phone down for a while. Catch up with someone you haven’t seen in too long. Pull up a seat at the bar and chat with us. Whatever slowing down looks like for you, our Thursday Happy Hour is a pretty good place to do it.

This week, we’re pouring two favorites:

🌸 2025 Rosé — $9/glass

Dry, bright and refreshing, with beautiful fruit and enough structure to make this much more than a simple summer sipper. Made from Pinot Noir, Lemberger and Cabernet Franc, it balances fresh fruit and lively acidity with a little more depth than you might expect from a Rosé.

🍷 2023 Malbec — $12/glass

From Les Collines Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley, this is a rich, expressive Malbec with dark fruit, depth and plenty of character. Bold without being heavy, it’s a great red to settle into for the afternoon.

FINALLY. 🙌

Six months after opening our doors in Tacoma, we got the green light.

Starting this weekend, you’ll be able to order food right alongside your w**e in Tacoma! 🥂

If you’ve ever dealt with permitting of pretty much any kind, you probably understand just how good the word “Congratulations” in this email felt. 😂

After more than six months of submissions, follow-up questions, confirmations, inspections, and a whole lot of waiting, we’re officially approved—and ready to start serving!

Our Tacoma food menu will include two charcuterie options along with three European-style baguette sandwiches: the Jambon, Genoa and Caprese.

You can check out the full menu on our website now, and starting this weekend, enjoy it alongside a glass of w**e in Tacoma.

It may seem like a small thing, but after everything it took to get here, we’re pretty darn excited to finally offer food in our tasting room.
