So day 2 is in the books......

Team Misfit brought in 2nd place in the scavenger hunt.

Team Kenny and Bocephus had a great day.
Rookie in hand 5th place
Rookie riding 6th place

Adult 1 in hand 5th place
Adult 1 riding 17th place.

Team Nann and Indigo
Adult 1 in hand 11th place
Adult 1 riding 15th place

Adult 2 in hand 14th place
Adult 2 riding 13th place

Open 1 in hand 5th place
Open 1 riding 15th place

Open 2 in hand 13th place
Open 2 riding 11th place

Who knows on the farm challenge we weren't top 2 and that's all that was placed.

Been a long day. Tomorrow is day 3!

Team Misfit brought home the win in today's scavenger hunt!!!!!!

Team Kenny and Bocephus
Rookie in hand 7th place
Rookie riding 6th place

Adult 1 in hand 14th place
Adult 1 riding 17th place

Team Nann and Indigo
Open 1 in hand 2nd place we were 1/2 a point from a perfect run!!!!!
Open 1 riding 6th place

Adult 1 in hand 5th place
Adult 1 riding 7th place

Open 2 in hand 11th place
Open 2 riding 14th place

Adult 2 in hand 12th place
Adult 2 riding 14th place.

It was a very competitive field today and large classes.

Very proud of both horses and riders!!!!!!!!!!

Well the day has come to an end.......team Kenny and Bocephus finished 4 classes team Nann and Indigo finished 8 classes and we did the scavenger hunt which was a little more eventful then we would have liked. Indigo decided to go thru a thorn bush causing his riders some blood shed. Then Bocephus had some wardrobe malfunction loosing a screw out of his bridle. But at least it's an easy fix. Awaiting awards for the day. It's been a long day and both horse's and riders are ready to relax.

Well team Kenny and Bocephus completed their 2 in hand classes.
Team Nann and Indigo have completed their 4 in hand classes.

All the riding classes and scavenger hunt to go.

Both teams are trying their best. Classes are pretty large groups. So fingers crossed.

Done with the demo at the summit county horse camp. Team Kenny and Bocephus did very well. Team Nann and Indigo helped with balloons and answering questions. Now headed to Creek Side Horse Park !

Well tomorrow starts the week for the Misfits we will have team Kenny and Bocephus doing a cowboy mounted shooting demo at a horse camp at summit county fairgrounds at 10:30 and 1:15. Then we are headed to Creek Side Horse Park for the OQHA mountain trail event. Both team Nann and Indigo and team Kenny and Bocephus will be competing. We will be there until Sunday!

Feel free to come cheer us on, meet the teams, watch some amazing horses in action!

First saddle club show of the 2026 season is in the books.....the rain held off til our last class of the rain then it down poured. Both riders and both horse's did great. Team Kenny and Bocephus came out 1 class ahead of Team Nann and Indigo. Both horses finished in the top 5.

Team Kenny and Bocephus struggled a couple runs with Bocephus wanting to buck but Kenny did a great job at staying on and getting him under control.

Team Nann and Indigo had a pretty good day a couple small stumbles and then in the pouring rain the last run of the day the laid down a smoking run fastest time ever for them with a 13.000.

So proud of all of team Misfit!
