If you noticed we’ve been a little quiet around here, it’s for a pretty special reason. 🖤

Three weeks ago tonight, I unexpectedly went into preterm labor with our twins. Less than 24 hours later, our two newest blessings made their arrival earthside.

We’re so blessed to share that everyone is healthy, thriving, and soaking up all the newborn cuddles we can get. We’ve been taking this time to slow down, adjust, and enjoy these moments as a family.

At the same time, we’re mentally preparing ourselves because apparently we weren’t done with the baby chaos yet. Our cows are due to start calving July/August.

Babies everywhere over here, and we wouldn’t have it any other way 🖤🖤

Anthony wanted to make the chicken coop we purchased a little more functional. He added a wall to give us some storage space and installed solar lights too. Today we officially moved the ladies in… along with one surprise rooster 🐓

I think they’re loving their new setup already 😁 Next up, we’ll add some more nesting boxes and build them a run so they can enjoy all the nice weather we’re supposed to get soon! ☀️🤞🏻

Another beautiful day here at JJJ Ranch ☀️

A week ago we moved the ladies over to another pasture, and now all of our yearlings have access to the pasture by the pond. Safe to say they’ve been loving all the fresh green grass.

Chester has also been enjoying his freedom and settling in with his new friends. I think he’s confused and thinks he’s one of the cows 😝
