BUDBURST W**E FESTIVAL | 14-15 Nov | Special Guest W**emakers

🍷 Merth Vineyard is a small-scale, family-run vineyard in Spring Hill. Neil & Erin make minimal intervention, wild-fermented, unfiltered Village 2024 Sangiovese Nouveau, and Village 2025 Rose.

Since they were affected by the Harcourt fire, they’ll also show their Bushfire Recovery 2025 Riesling Marsanne Viognier, Bushfire Recovery 2025 Pinot Shiraz, and Bushfire Recovery 2025 Syrah Negroamaro.

🍷 Limestone Track Vineyard is James Geros’ rejuvenated 25-year-old Central Vic vineyard in Guildford, focusing on Chardonnay, Vermentino, Tempranillo, Shiraz, and Merlot; newly planted blocks such as Barbera and Fiano.

We’ll be open over two festival days, along with 25 w**eries across 15+ Budburst venues.

We have had great but unusual rainfall for this El Niño year. So far, we’ve had 700mm, while the average is 600mm for the year.

In Aug, we had 134mm of rain, compared to the mean of 85mm, giving us a good buffer.

Then, Sept was one of the driest on record with only 32mm, less than half the average of 75mm.

This was followed by a good dump of rain at the start of Oct (so far is 40mm) to keep the dams full. The soil profile is also at optimum levels, and the vines are loving it. A good start to the 2027 vintage.
