What’s new in the Wine Room this weekend you ask?

Our 2025 The People’s Share Pinot Noir has arrived and is the perfect follow-up to the sold out 2024 and 2023 vintages. If you loved the smooth, balanced elegance of the previous release, then you’ll be even more captivated by the depth and complexity of this year’s.

If you love Pinot Noir you probably want to drop in for a taste.

It’s true! This was my Monday morning.

We don’t normally pick under nets, but we needed to top up the weight from the previous day, so this is how we get very small amounts picked quickly.

Meet some of the rock from up near the Folly Block.

I know it doesn’t look that exciting…. BUT, if you look really closely you can see the grey flint on the sides of the stone which is not oxidized and how it contrasts with the top weathered part of the rock.

The orange colour on the top is oxidation of the stone, showing the mineral density in this soil.

It’s what is giving our Pinot Gris that satisfyingly dry mineral finish (and it looks beautiful too).
