Our Peta 🥰

Meet the lady behind all the magic here at Quiddity Place and Hidden Frog Restaurant.

Quiddity Place is one of the Bellarine Peninsula's newest destinations, where food, w**e, art and nature come together to create a truly unique experience.

Behind it all is Peta Davis, who says that in another life she might have been an interior designer. She's brought that creative passion to Quiddity Place, where art leads the experience.

Peta says the focus on art has had the biggest positive impact on the business, From the local gallery and private collection to the beautiful gardens and the Hidden Frog sculpture, the playfulness of the property a delightful surprise for visitors.

When she has some rare free time, At The Heads is a favourite of Peta’s, where you might find her soaking up the views, watching the waves roll in and enjoying a great meal. She also recommends Scotchmans Hill as a must-see for visitors for the history, the views and the glamour.

Back at Quiddity Place, Peta is always on the move and relies on her comfy shoes to get through the day. And if the venue ever needed a mascot? Their hidden frog of course!

New menu items incoming!

Parmesan crisps filled with whipped feta, beets, baby carrots and labneh, lamb shoulder with green goddess sauce, goat curd and saltbush, a soy braised beef cheek with nam jim dressing.

Unbelievably tasty.

Nights at Hidden Frog……

Dinners at Hidden Frog restaurant are coming back after the winter break.

From 4th September, Friday & Saturday night dinners are back on the menu at Quiddity Place!

The days are getting longer, warming up, the frogs are rowdy and our reverse sunset views are pretty special.

The Lighthouse Olive Oil harvest at Quiddity Place is complete for another year, and what a beauty it has been.

We’ve harvested a beautiful crop of olives and pressed them into fresh, vibrant, peppery EVOO that’s now resting in tank. Over the coming months, it will settle naturally while preserving all those wonderful polyphenols and the unique character of this year’s harvest.

There’s something pretty special about seeing each year’s harvest make its way from the grove to the bottle.

We’ll be pouring this season’s Lighthouse Olive Oil in the restaurant and stocking it in the Cellar Door later this year. We can’t wait to share it with you.
