Last call for Oktoberfest 2026 at our Botany Taproom! 🍻🍕🍸️🌭🎶
This Saturday and Sunday we'll have our German-style Food, B**r & Other drink specials before we wrap it up for another year, so come on down and don't miss out!

Our Oktoberfest celebrations kick off this Saturday September 19th and we're super excited to share our tap list for this weekend's launch! This year we've loaded up 11 of our 12 taps with our absolute favourite German-style b**rs. And to add to the authentic-feeling Oktoberfest experience - we'll be offering Slow Lane Stein Glasses throughout the festivities or until they're all gone. Buy a glass and score bigger pours!

Botany taproom closed this Thursday 17 Sep.

Not for maintenance. We're taking over 12 taps on Hotel Sweeney's rooftop Thursday to Sunday, so we're shutting the doors for a night and the whole team is heading into the city for staff drinks.

It's about as wide a spread as we can get across 12 taps. Two clean German la**rs and a doppelbock at one end, a hazy and a West Coast IPA in the middle, then the Belgian ladder in full: blonde, dubbel, tripel, plus a biere de garde and a witbier. There's a sparkling ale for anyone who wants something local, and at the far end a rum barrel-aged doppelbock for the last glass of the night. L***r drinkers, hop people and the abbey-b**r faithful all covered on the same tap wall.

Come say hi. Back at Botany from Friday as normal. Then straight into our Oktoberfest Opening Day Party this Saturday 19 Sep!

Grain of Salt, our Leipzig-style Gose, is back for the first time since 2024. Tart, lightly salted, a hint of coriander — no fruit, no gimmicks. Light, refreshing and just 3% ABV.

That's all four out in the wild: two la**rs, a wheat b**r and a sour, all German-style, all just in time for Oktoberfest. Amber and pale, dark and light, malty and tart — there's a lot more to German b**r than one style, and this line-up covers a fair bit of the map.

Cans are available online and at our Botany taproom now, and coming to your local Slow Lane stockist from next week. All four will be on tap for our Oktoberfest Opening Day Party next Saturday 19 September.

Classic Dark Haze has been off the list for three years. Time to fix that.

If you know Classic Haze, our Hefeweizen, this is its darker sibling — the same banana and clove from the weizen yeast, but built on Munich and dark wheat malts for caramel, bread crust and a touch of chocolate. Can-conditioned and highly carbonated, so it throws a thick, creamy head the way a weizen should. 5.6% ABV.

Three of four this week. Cans are available online and at our Botany taproom now, and coming to your local Slow Lane stockist from next week. On tap for our Oktoberfest Opening Day Party next Saturday 19 September.
