Just a couple of Winter weekends left and we're keeping things nice and toasty at our Botany Taproom! 🍻🍕🍸️🎶
This weekend we'll have our weekly Food & Drink specials plus an exciting new Pizza Special making an appearance. If you haven't tried our house-made Mulled Wine yet, get in before it's all gone! Traditional Irish tunes to cosy up with on Saturday night plus the dulcet sounds of Olive Diaz Trio rounding out the weekend.

This month we're kicking off an exciting new venture; Slow Jams: A Monthly Open Jam Night!

Join us from 5pm on Thursday 27th August for a night of getting to know our local musician community, making some lovely music together over a few Slow Lane beers.
From beginner level guitarists all the way to industry professional saxophonists, all are welcome to bring along their gear, join in and get to know fellow artists bursting out of our Botany area. And if you're not necessarily the trained musicial type but love some good melodies, come along and watch the magic happen.

Slow Jams will fall on the last Thursday of each month, and we're looking forward to kicking off the project with a bang!

Prost! Slow Lane's 2026 Oktoberfest is almost here.

Kicking off with our opening day party on Saturday 19th September and running until Sunday 4th October, we'll be bringing you the closest thing to the authentic Oktoberfest experience without having to hop on a plane!

🍺 German Beers on Tap – Our taps will be stocked up with German-style beers, a mix of core favourites and brand new brews.
🥨 German Food Specials – Alongside our pizzas, we’ll be serving up German favourites like traditional sausages, currywurst and fresh pretzels.
🎶 Opening Day Party – Saturday 19th September will be one to remember - with The Polka Kings delivering the sounds of Munich-infused festivities from 4:30pm, plus limited edition Slow Lane stein glasses available on the day.
Don your best Oktoberfest outfit and you might just score your first beer on the house!

Dust off your dirndl and lederhosen, gather your mates, and join us for three weekends of Bavarian fun right here in Botany!

Two more for August — and the start of our Oktoberfest run.

Releases two and three land together. Both German, both a warm-up for what's coming next month.

SIMPLICITY — Helles German Lager 5%

Back by popular demand. The quintessential Bavarian beer garden pour: malt-focused, with just a touch of bitterness from spicy German hops and nothing to get in the way. A reminder that the simple things are usually the best.

LIQUID BREAD — Doppelbock 8.5%

Our annual release of Liquid Bread returns for 2026. Strong, rich and malty, brewed in the tradition of the 17th century Bavarian monks who leaned on it to get through the forty days of Lent without solid food — hence the name.

(We do not condone the forty day beer-only diet.)

Long Shadow — Biere de Garde 7.5%

First of three August releases, and our first ever Biere de Garde. Six years in and we're still finding styles worth the wait.

Biere de Garde means "beer for keeping". Inspired by the historic farmhouse breweries of French Flanders, where brewers worked through the cooler months and cellared what they made until the long days of summer called for it.

Ours is deep amber and long-lagered in tank, with a rich malt backbone and a smooth, clean, dry finish.

We're hiring — Warehouse & Logistics All-Rounder, Belrose. $30–35/hr + overtime + super.

Full-time, Mon–Fri. Orders in, orders out, stock on the racking, deliveries around Sydney in the van, and a few hours a week on the canning line at Botany. No two days the same.

You'll need a driver's licence and to be happy shifting kegs. Forklift ticket helps, but we'll fund it if you don't have one.

This role is based at our Belrose warehouse. Free on-site parking, and buses from Gordon, Chatswood, Macquarie Park and Wynyard.
