Spring is officially in full swing at Windecker Woods!

Here's a little peek at what’s waking up around the farm this week:

🌸 Our peony buds are officially making an appearance
☀️ The first dahlias of the season have broken through the soil and are soaking up the sun
🌱 Lots of seedlings have put down roots and will be turning into blooms in about six weeks (ish)
🌊The dock is ready for the season

We aren't quite ready for visitors yet, but the peony buds are tracking perfectly. We expect them to be ready for you in early June! Stay tuned for opening details!

$50.00 per yard (tractor-loaded)

🗓️ Pickups: Please call us to schedule a time so we’re ready for you!
🚜 Loading: Bringing a truck or trailer? We’ll fill it for you with our loader.
🪏 Smaller Loads: Bringing your own recycle bin? We’ve got shovels on-site for you to use.
📍 Note: We are pickup-only at the farm (no delivery available).

🤷 What's Mushroom Compost?
A nutrient-dense blend of horse manure and shavings. During the composting process, natural heat sterilizes the mix, ensuring it’s weed-seed free. After it’s cured over the winter, it’s the perfect "black gold" for your soil.

Ways to use it:
🌱 Lawns (including top dressing for new seed)
🍅 Vegetable Gardens
🍎Orchards
🌼 Perennials, Trees, and Shrubs
🪴Container Plants

We use this in our own flower gardens every year and our blooms have never looked better! 🌸
