Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.

We are so thankful for our community and all your support and enthusiasm for the work we do.

Previously I had planned to stock Fairland Fields farm stand today. But due to our youngest having airway surgery and being in Calgary children's hospital over the weekend. I will be postponing till Saturday. Thank you for your support and understanding.

I look forward to baking fresh bread and cookies for you this coming weekend

New stock in the Shed today - a new batch of Borscht, and a new
soup addition - Heart Veg soup, another old family recipe, this time from my Father-in-law; made with homemade beef broth, potato,carrot,parsnip,turnip,celery,tomato,parsley,onion; Cinnamon Twist Buns will be put out by about 1 PM today, and another small batch tomorrow mid-day, fresh baked.

Just a note, I will not be baking this Saturday, we are away for a surgery for our youngest. I hope to bake again the following Tuesday. The stand will still be open daily 9-7 and Debbie will have cinnamon twists baked for Saturday.

And now we have more than we need.

Ripping up sod, planting seeds and enjoying planning the garden each year is 1000% better than mowing grass.

We live in a rural residential area and have enjoyed the opportunity of making our space our own. Turning into something that we can put time into and enjoy a reward from. Working with the seasons and learning more and more about our local food system.
