Linden Lane Farms is a family operated farm specializing in organic horticulture. The farm is located in Krestova, BC, where it has been owned by the Carr's for over 40 years. Now managed by grandson, Matthew, the farms produces certified organic greenhouse & field produce as well as small fruits & berries. Find our locally grown food at the Nelson and Castlegar F

armers markets and your local grocers throughout the West Kootenays. Enjoy the special benefits of joining one of our three community supported agriculture (CSA) programs suited for the different Kootenay lifestyles. Don't forget our fall Pumpkin Fest sale each October to celebrate the season's harvest and to pick your own pumpkin from the patch. Each spring we offer the largest edible plant nursery in the Kootenays. We have a great selection of our organic vegetable & herb transplants and sweetpotato slips as well as berries, perennials, fruit trees, seed potatoes, fertilizers and compost. Update from Farmer Matt! 🍉🌽 Enjoy summer while it’s still here!

We’re right in the heart of summer harvest at Linden Lane Farms. The watermelons are coming in, the corn is ready, and there’s a lot of other great food coming out of the fields right now.

These crops are also a pretty good reminder of just how much work our crew has put in to get us here. Months of planting, weeding, irrigating, harvesting and pushing through some long, hot days — and now we get to enjoy the results.

It might still feel like summer, but on the farm we can already see fall coming. Pumpkins and squash aren’t far behind. 🎃

So while we’ve got them, eat the watermelon, cook the corn and enjoy these last weeks of summer. 🍉🌽☀️

And a big thank you to our crew for everything they’ve put into this season. 💪

Yes, we know it’s only August… but around here, we’re already counting down to October 1st! 🍂

We are officially just 7 short weeks away from the first day of Pumpkin Fest at Linden Lane Farms — and we couldn’t be more excited! 🧡

October 1st kicks off the first of our three weekends of Pumpkin Fest, and we’ll be opening the gates and welcoming you back for another year of fall memories at the farm.

From sunrise harvests to buzzing pollinators, here’s a little glimpse into life on the farm this week.

🥦 Broccoli bins filling up.
🐝 Bees hard at work making sure future harvests happen.
🍅 Tomato plants getting the care they need to keep producing.
🥬 Giant curly lettuce that barely fits in your arms.
🧄 Garlic being cleaned after harvest.
🌱 Squash fields stretching farther every day.
🫑 The first colourful peppers of the season.
🥕 Fall carrots putting on steady growth.
🍉 And watermelons that are looking better every single day.

There’s always something new happening this time of year, and every harvest is the result of months of planning, planting, weeding, watering, and an incredible team that works hard through the summer heat to bring beautiful organic produce to your table.
