Linden Lane Farms is a family operated farm specializing in organic horticulture. The farm is located in Krestova, BC, where it has been owned by the Carr's for over 40 years. Now managed by grandson, Matthew, the farms produces certified organic greenhouse & field produce as well as small fruits & berries. Find our locally grown food at the Nelson and Castlegar Farmers markets and your local grocers throughout the West Kootenays. Enjoy the special benefits of joining one of our three community supported agriculture (CSA) programs suited for the different Kootenay lifestyles. Don't forget our fall Pumpkin Fest sale each October to celebrate the season's harvest and to pick your own pumpkin from the patch. Each spring we offer the largest edible plant nursery in the Kootenays. We have a great selection of our organic vegetable & herb transplants and sweetpotato slips as well as berries, perennials, fruit trees, seed potatoes, fertilizers and compost. There’s just something about getting lost in a corn maze…

Little kids running ahead, grown-ups pretending they know which way they’re going, dogs happily tagging along, friends laughing, and everyone stopping for a photo with the scarecrow along the way.

Somehow, a bunch of corn turns into an afternoon full of smiles, muddy shoes, silly pictures, and memories you’ll be talking about long after the corn is gone.

Canada grows millions of acres of corn every year — but only a tiny fraction of it gets turned into places for us to get wonderfully lost in and make memories.

Come wander the paths, find the scarecrow, bring the kids, bring your friends, bring the dog… and maybe don’t worry too much about finding your way out.

🎃 Okay, but can we talk about the STEM?!

We’re not saying the stem makes the pumpkin… but it definitely adds a little ✨something✨. 😂

Tall stem? YES.
Curly stem? YES. YES.
Chunky stem? YES.
Tiny little stem? Still cute.
No stem? We still love you.

But there’s just something about a perfectly stemmed pumpkin that makes you stop and say… YES. THAT ONE.

Because when it comes to pumpkins, it’s all about the little details. 🎃✨

🌱 We’re Growing and Looking for Land for 2027! 🚜

As Linden Lane Farms continues to grow, we’re looking for additional farmland to lease for the 2027 growing season around Krestova, Shoreacres and Tarrys.

Have agricultural land that’s sitting unused or underutilized? We may be able to put it back into production while growing more food for our local communities.

🥕 Why lease your land to LLF?
• Keep farmland actively farmed and cared for future generations of farmers
• Support local, certified organic food production
• Build soil health and keep land in agriculture
• Longer-term leases can allow for investments in fencing, irrigation and other improvements
• Work with the Young Agrarians BC Land Matching Program to help create a solid agreement for everyone

We’re looking for workable land with good access and a reliable water source. Both larger parcels and smaller acreages may be a fit.
