Very proud of the job Dane has done with this very nice heifer purchased from a family member, Campbell's Abigale 5039.

The Cody Sibbald Memorial Show is a very special weekend.

Now to fit in a month of work in to a weekend!

To some people, I have looked foolish/impractical maybe crazy all these years with my vision and dream. What I do is not the normal path.

Right now, I look like a genius.

Except I look like a fool for not having the numbers I need.

I will just keep plugging along.

Thanks for those that have shared my vision and supported me through last 11 years. You're first on the long list. Everyone wants a dance with this girl at the ball these days, I get messages daily.

It's been 15, 16, 17 hour days for me for months. Funny the things you stop having time to knot yourself up over. Between being a woman of certain age & giving life all I got, a lot of things that used to keep me worked up have just fallen away.

In the meantime, time to finish this coffee and go do chores before I go to work.

Why Lowlines?

Here are 2 amazing reasons:

1. CUTEST calves on the entire planet

2. Calving Ease extraordinaire- this heifer is out of a Lowline cow that I AI'd Charolais. My husband checked around 1 and she was just haning out, when I got home just after 4, baby was up, dry (it was crazy windy) and running around with Mama.

Rudest bitch of Mother's Day goes to.... number 29 who had her black baldy calf TODAY not yesterday as per my request.

I guess I'll let it slide since this is my third year of AI calves and she's given me a black baldy 3X, all first try.

I think it's a heifer but the wind has her pretty grouchy and I can't get a really good look.

On that note also, God clearly wants me to have more cows cause I am way more in the heifer column this year.

Saturday I spent the day with my boys & their heifers at a show.

Today, we planted a bunch of garden and I rode one of my horses.

Totally obsessed with my new toy! Between it and the tiller behind my garden tractor, it has cut days off my planting process.
