It’s that time of year again when we finally get to share the fruits of our labour with all you guys! The menu will be released tomorrow night at 7pm MST!
We’ve got some new exciting stuff to try, dill pickle and spicy pickled celery, mild and spicy pickled beets, jalapeño pineapple jelly and much more!
Some tasting notes, the pickled celery is a winner, it stayed nice and crispy and it has extreme celery flavour! We think it’s due to the cellular structure of it, celery absorbs the brine a lot more than a cucumber does. That being said, it absorbs the heat more as well, the hot celery is definitely in the running for the hottest product of the year! There’s limited supply of these and they should go quickly!
We experimented with Carolina Reaper mash in one of our batches of salsa and it resulted in a beautiful salsa with good heat and amazing flavour, probably the best salsa we’ve ever made. It’ll definitely have a permanent spot in future years menus!
Ever try spicy pickled beets? Now’s your chance, limited to 7 1L jars. We’ll be asking for your feedback on these to see if you’d like them on the menu in coming years.
