Start the car! It is Wednesday and we are back open. Fresh picked strawberries, peas, kholarbi, radishes, tomatoes and more. Fresh baking including sour dough bread, muffins, scones, tarts and more. Just dropped off was more of Dons creations that you have been loving. Cats, dogs, fish and a new tractor. Picked our first quart of cucumbers. Not many yet but it is a start. And got a bunch of Swiss chard if anyone one there likes it. We have tried growing it before with no luck but we have never had anyone ask.

First it is making our own laundry detergent, now a butter churn. This one is in pretty good shape. He had to show me how it worked. What will be next?

Due to a slow day in the self serve yesterday we have a flat and a half of jam berries. We thought we would offer them to you guys before going in our freezer. Come on by and pick them up. We also have fresh picked strawberries (in case it is another slower day we did not put as many out.) more peas, and other produce and delights. Now back out to the field. It was summer solstice yesterday. Hard to believe our daylight time per day is starting to get shorter now. Was nice to be out at 5;30 ish today.

Wake up everyone it is Saturday. I will start off and admit I went to bed before Paul yesterday. He went back out to work a patch of sweet corn field in hopes to plant again today. Maybe I was just tired from my frustration of our mid variety of strawberries. Not producing like they should. So we bought some nice berries from our cantaloupe grower who you all love. About 75 percent of the berries this week have been ours, some today are ours but some will be Lucknow grown. We don’t bring in Niagara berries, we don’t go to the food terminal or have someone bring them up from the food terminal, we support Local. Supporting us means supporting other LOCAL farmers. Going to bed early means waking up earlier so almost two bushels of peas picked for today. Fresh baking is here, sourdough breads and bagels along with some pies, muffins, fry pies and more. We got a restock yesterday afternoon of Zehrs Country Market breakfast sausages, ground beef and pork chops. A restock this morning of Bluewater bath items. Another couple larger tables are in the market since we sold two this week. More crafty items joining our already good selection. See you all out from 9-5. 82818 bluewater Hwy.

Baking is here. Apple Fritters, Pies (perfect for Fathers Day) breads, muffins, scones and more.. Been picking more berries this morning and just heading out to pick more peas. Had to pick extra last night for wholesaling out just a few We don't do too much wholesaling but if we can we do, only if time and crop permits. We have noticed more people have commented how you see Paul more.. Now that we are harvesting more of our own product Paul is a bit more in the market greeting you all, and probably telling you some corny joke. Remember last two days for Aspargus. It kind of feels like a soup day. Why not stop in and pick up a container of soup. Save $2. You will find it in our glass top freezer. We are needing the space for all the cheesecake in a jar we got in. 12 different kinds now. Turtle, Black Forest, pecan pie, key lime, biscoff, lemon raspberry, salted caramel, skor, lemon blueberry, peanut butter cookie, coconut cream and raspberry white chocolate. Not sure which to get, why not get one of each. We find many girls weekend getaways around here get a bunch as their special treat. Then each can pick out the flavour to try. Forgot to mention this morning we got s’more tarts in for the first time this year which was always a hit last year. And back to something healthy garlic scapes are in. Harvested them all yesterday morning so grab them while you can. Have a great day.

Looks like a gorgeous fall day minus the colorful leaves. Come on out and grab some strawberries, peas, asparagus ( last week for them), cucumbers, tomatoes and more. We have three flats of strawberries, they got a little more dirt on them then we would like but if washing your berries anyways they are all good. Come grab them. All the baking is in, sourdough breads and bagels, muffins, Spanish bar cake, squares, cookies and more. Two different sizes of bouquets are in today.
