Bird’s Nest Fungi (Crucibulum laeve) 🍄‍🟫
The cup-shaped fruiting bodies look like tiny bird nests with small, white, egg-like structures inside (peridioles) which contain spores. When a raindrop hits the cup, it splashes the peridioles out, helping to disperse the spores up to a meter away.

We have a new doe joining our herd next week!

Introducing Lovestruck! Her dam classified EX90 this year, and her maternal granddam classified EX91. She is out of some very nice bloodlines and will be an asset to our herd. She was bred to Curl Creek YW Countn Razzles and we’ll be expecting kids in March 😍
