This Thanksgiving, Cedar Grove wants to give profound thanks to the folks who have helped make this year one of the best ones yet - let's go Dream Team 2026!!!
It's easy to take for granted the neighbour who's always there to lend you a cup of sugar, but this year we want to remind all of you to take a moment for reflection and give thanks to something important and often overlooked: community.
The hardest working and most tenured hands of Kelly and Phoebe, with a special guest in the full time slot, Jazmin. These folks have endured the pepper crazies, endless egg lunches, and worked tirelessly to w**d, compost, pick, snip, and haul the countless veggies that we bring for you folks to enjoy at market. Also shout out to Brennan who came in for the end-of-season assist.
Our volunteer MVP gangstas, Robert and Kathryn, showing up every Monday and then some, to ease our bodies and minds assisting in whatever finicky knot-tying and tedious tomato pulling we've thrown at them. (Can't quit Kathryn!)
The huge amount of lawn mowing has seemingly magically, always been done on time and to perfection by dear Robin, Scott's father, who will never stop as long as the zero-turn has gas.
Not pictured here but also incredibly valued are Greg aka Mutt aka Onion Boy, the greenhouse tidier to beat them all, Ricardo and his wonderful sons Dante and Leon, who spent time during their precious summer trellising nearly as precious little roma plants, Sammi who helped us get a greenhouse up in record time with a smile on his face, Allison and Kris and Eva for diligently w**ding carrots and strawberries, and Lori who was forced into picking squash before the frost.
Finally, we are forever grateful to the customers who support us week in and week out, letting us continue to feed the community we love so much.
