🚜 New Feature: Secure Bank Sync is Live!

Managing your homestead finances just got a whole lot easier.

You can now securely connect your Canadian or U.S. bank accounts and supported credit cards to HomesteadOS using Plaid.

βœ… Automatically import transactions
βœ… Organize income & expenses
βœ… Create smart automation rules
βœ… Attach receipts
βœ… Split purchases across multiple categories
βœ… Stay organized all yearβ€”and make tax time much simpler.

Your banking credentials never touch HomesteadOS. Connections are securely handled by Plaid, and you stay in complete control of what gets imported.

This is another big step toward building the all-in-one operating system for homesteaders.

As always, thank you to everyone helping test, suggest ideas, and shape HomesteadOS. We're just getting started. 🌱

One of the things I've learned over the years is that the little details matter.
When did that doe kid? How old is that rabbit now? What did that animal cost to raise? When was the last health check or breeding date?

It's easy to think you'll remember everything... until life gets busy and the seasons start flying by.

That's a big part of why I started building HomesteadOS in the first place. Not from an office, but right here on the homestead while caring for animals, working projects, and trying to keep track of everything happening around us.

The goal was simple: spend less time searching through notebooks and scraps of paper, and more time actually enjoying the homestead.

What is one thing you wish you had started tracking sooner on your homestead?

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there putting in the work. ❀️

The early mornings.

The late nights.

The fences that need fixing.

The animals that still need feeding.

The gardens that need tending.

The bills that need paying.

The lessons being taught every day, often without saying a word.

One of the greatest gifts we can give our children isn't what we buy for them. It's showing them how to work hard, solve problems, care for others, and build a life worth being proud of.

Whether you're raising livestock, growing food, homeschooling, working a full-time job while building your homestead, or simply doing your best to provide for your family, your efforts matter more than you know.

Wishing all the homestead dads a day filled with family, gratitude, and maybe even a few moments to sit back and enjoy the life you're working so hard to build.

Happy Father's Day. 🌱🏑

🚜🌱 WE DID IT. HOMESTEADOS IS NOW AVAILABLE ON BOTH APPLE AND GOOGLE PLAY. 🌱🚜

A few months ago, HomesteadOS was nothing more than an idea.

An idea born right here on our homestead.

Like many homesteaders, I was juggling animals, gardens, chores, projects, finances, inventory, family schedules, and a hundred other moving pieces. I kept wishing there was one place designed specifically for homesteaders to manage it all.

So I decided to build it.

What I didn't expect was how quickly this would grow beyond just my own project.

Over the last few months there have been countless early mornings, late nights, long weekends, coffee-fueled coding sessions, problem solving, testing, rebuilding, redesigning, fixing bugs, and learning things I never thought I'd need to learn.

There were moments when I wasn't sure I could pull it off.

But something incredible happened along the way.

Homesteaders started showing up.

People began testing early versions, reporting bugs, sharing ideas, suggesting features, challenging my thinking, and helping shape HomesteadOS into something far better than I could have built alone.

Many of the features inside HomesteadOS today exist because of conversations with real homesteaders who took the time to share what they needed most.

This platform may have started on our homestead, but it has become a community project.

Built by homesteaders.
Shaped by homesteaders.
For homesteaders.

Today I'm incredibly proud to share that HomesteadOS is now officially available on:

🍎 Apple App Store
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/homesteados/id6773900573

πŸ€– Google Play Store
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.usehomesteados.twa

πŸ’» Web Browser
https://usehomesteados.com

Whether you're raising chickens, managing livestock, growing food, running a farm stand, tracking finances, organizing chores, building a more self-sufficient lifestyle, or simply looking to connect with other homesteaders, HomesteadOS was built with you in mind.

Most importantly...

Thank you.

Thank you to every beta tester.
Thank you to every person who reported a bug.
Thank you to every person who shared an idea.
Thank you to every person who believed in this vision before there was anything to show.

You helped build this.

And we're just getting started.

❀️ From our family and homestead to yours, thank you for being part of this journey.

A pretty exciting milestone for our family today...

Just a few months ago, HomesteadOS was nothing more than an idea.

An idea born from wanting a better way to organize everything happening on our own homestead.

Today, HomesteadOS is officially listed on the Apple App Store. πŸŽπŸŽ‰

It's been a whirlwind of early mornings, late nights, learning as I go, fixing problems, building features, listening to feedback, and constantly improving.

What amazes me most is how much can happen in a few short months when you simply start and keep moving forward one step at a time.

This project is far from finished, but it's already helping homesteaders organize their animals, gardens, tasks, finances, inventory, and connect with other homesteaders through a growing community.

I want to thank everyone who has followed along, tested features, shared ideas, and supported this vision. Every bit of encouragement has helped push this project forward.

If you'd like to check it out, you can now download HomesteadOS on iPhone and iPad here:

Android users can still join our active beta as we continue improving and preparing for full public release.

It's a reminder that you don't need years to start building something meaningful. Sometimes all it takes is taking that first step and refusing to quit.

Excited to see where this journey goes next. 🚜🌱

Hey everyone πŸ‘‹ I been working on an all in one homesteading app where you can track animals, breeding, gardening, homestead inventory, financial tracking, homestead pay system for farmstand card payment thru QR scaning and even including a community hub you can create share knowledge or learn from others etc
over the last few months.. What originally started as a passion project just to run our own family homestead has now become so much more with a handful of friends and other homesteaders input.

It has been a lot of fun working on and working with some of you to bring this to life and shape it into what it currently is and going to be.

With that being said I am currently looking for a handful of android users to help run a beta test and launch our app on the Google Play store.

You will get front row access to share your input and bring some of your own creative life into Homestead-OS something currently missing you wish you could see and use in a homesteading app ? Nows your chance. πŸ€—

Comment below or dm me directly if you would be interested in willing to help run a beta test share some feedback and bring everyone's new favorite all in one homesteading app to life πŸ₯°πŸ˜

Appreciate you all. Be blessed πŸ™Œ
