🚨Correction notice: Fall black bear seasons!

The ministry is aware of an error in the 2026 Ontario Hunting Regulations Summary regarding the fall black bear seasons for the following Wildlife Management Units (WMUs): 46, 47, 49, 50, 53, 64, 66, 67, 69, 71–76.

The correct black bear season for these WMUs is September 8 to November 30.

The dates have now been corrected in both the downloadable PDF found at ontario.ca/HuntingRegulations and online here: https://www.ontario.ca/document/ontario-hunting-regulations-summary/black-bear -1.
