Does anyone else still put out a Cornucopia? I put my out every year still, it reminds me so much of Fall, the Harvest and Thanksgiving! Cornucopia derived from the Latin “cornu” meaning horn, and “copia” meaning plenty, the cornucopia has long been used as a common harvest symbol associated with a plentiful bounty. Historically, a real goat's horn, filled with fruits and grains, was depicted at the center of lavish tables of food.

BC NDP is proposing price controls on gas as an election promise to lower gas prices. BUT the research shows Higher overall costs: Studies (such as from the Atlantic Institute of Market Studies) indicate that price regulation eliminates competitive discounting, costing consumers millions extra over time compared to free-market provinces.

It also doesn’t factor in global market pricing on oil and refined products, global war, shortages and chokepoints, market manipulation through media and traders and the US government, and lack of Canadian energy independence and domestic refining capacity as being a determinative factor in pricing.
