40-Day Celebration of Life

We humbly invite our family, friends, and community to join us as we gather to celebrate the life, love, and lasting memories of our dear Kuya Jong.

In Filipino tradition, the 40th-day memorial is a special time to honor the soul’s journey, offer prayers for his eternal peace, and come together to remember the happiness, laughter, and warmth he brought into all of our lives.
If you would like to share memories, stories, or simply reminisce and celebrate Kuya Jong's life with us, please join us for this special gathering.

Kit’s Kitchen Restaurant will be closed on Sunday and Monday. All of our staff will be in Vancouver for the viewing of my brother, Roberto.

He was one of our best cooks and always helped out a lot in the kitchen. All of my staff loved him. He was a kind and caring human being to everyone in the kitchen.

He recently came back to say farewell to us a couple of months ago after his holiday in the Philippines. Those couple months he was with us, he left us a lot of beautiful memories, the time was so short however it was very meaningful!

We also wanted to inform you that his wake will be shipped in the Philippines for my mother and father, as well as for his friends and our relatives, who have been waiting for him. We would like to give him a decent funeral.

We are also planning a Celebration of Life when we return here to Whitehorse. We know there are many friends who love Roberto, and we truly appreciate all your support and kindness during this time of grieving for my entire family and Kuya Jong’s very close friends. We are deeply saddened by his passing, he was taken too soon.
Rest well my brother! I love you and you will always be in my heart!

What an epic Abbotsford International Airshow! It was incredibly informative, and I had a great experience watching the entire show. The performances were impressive, and it was genuinely enjoyable from start to finish… I had an incredible and adventurous weekend, hope you had one too!
