My little baking business is currently run from my home in the seaside town of Cardigan in West Wales. We believe in damn good cake and damn good portions ;)

I think waking up to frost this morning and knowing my favourite seasons are well and truly here has made my heart happy!

Anyway, cawl is on, jackets are prepped, cakes are baking and I’ll be open about 3.30 🖤

Limited amount of all stock as it’s just today we’re open till next week :)

I won’t be opening the shop until Sunday evening (🤞🏻) this week due to other commitments :)

These have included getting my bake on for my mother in laws latest fundraising charity coffee morning; which is TOMORROW MORNING 💛

This time she’s raising funds for Cardigan Cancer Care 💛
An amazing charity that we all wish we never have to use! The volunteers help support people with cancer and their families with invaluable financial, emotional & practical support. The volunteers are literally angels and the work they do within our community is outstanding. Every single penny is used to benefit the people of our community at some of the toughest times of life 💛

So if you are free, please pop into the Catholic Hall in Cardigan from 10am til 12pm. It’s £3 entry for unlimited tea, coffee and plenty of cakes!

There is also a raffle and cake stall so donations for that are very gratefully received!!

Please help us raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause 💛

We sold out of cawl, jackets and most cakes last night! So BIG thank you to everyone who popped in 🖤

I’ll be opening with some fresh bakes at 3pm…. Ish ;)

Including cornflake tart, millionaires and the flapjack that were noticeably missing yesterday ;)

Today’s jacket potato special is chicken, gravy and stuffing @ £7-50 or creamy garlic mushrooms @ £6 🤤

If I have time, I’ll try and get a small pot of cawl on, available at £5 a pot :)

Ssshhhttt don’t tell anyone but I may actually be able to open the doors today ;) aiming for 5pm! And surely it’s about time one day goes to plan this week 😂😂😂

One day I’ll explain fully what the plan is here and why I’m so chaotic but maybe not now!

All you need to know is that for today we have ….

- Jacket potatoes with today’s special of chilli con carne 🌶️
Other toppings available: cheese, beans, coleslaw

- Homemade ham cawl 🍲

Sarah’s been busy creating new yummyness with these earl grey pear nests which are AMAZING! Also usual delicious tiramisus & banoffee pies

I have most of my usual sweet and savoury bits ‘n’ pieces!

So if you can’t be arsed to cook but fancy something a little healthier than the usual takeaways, pop in! Then get cake too!

I am home from my holibobs and I know I said I’d open today but knowing how my life runs, did anyone actually believe it would happen 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Long story short, there’s other things that have unexpectedly needed to come first this week. And as much as I want to get started at full speed, it just wasn’t to be.

So, I’ll be in the kitchen tomorrow but making no promises on opening times. I will be cooking up some yummy bakes, and an enormous pot of my ham cawl too ❤️ and Sarah’s back tomorrow too!!!!

Aiming for 5, might be earlier, but if it’s later; oops ;)

Ps have I ever told you how grateful I am that you continue to support me and put up with me and my shambolic entrepreneurial way of life?! Welllllllll, it’s a lot! A very lot of grateful love for every single one of you 😘😘😘

Thank you so much to everyone that called into the new shop last weekend 😍😍😍 was lush to see so many of you that have been buying my bakes for years and so many new faces too!

Don’t forget, we are closed now until opening officially next week :)
