Officially hit the “I don’t care what you think” stage of life and life feels good

I couldn’t motivate myself to run like I used to so I decided to switch the boring 5k up with a Witch Run

Run//Walk//Dance//Swoosh through the fells in floating clothes to Florence And The Machine

As somebody with almost no texture in my hair, this is probably the most excited I’ve ever been about a product I’ve made.

I’ve never been a hairdresser who likes hair to look freshly done. I love lived-in, effortless, slightly wild hair- wilderness hair 😉

Also a perimenopausal woman who has just started HRT and constantly conscious of what I put on my body, I’ve been experimenting with a new concept using natural ingredients obviously.

It mimics that beach hair texture we all love, but without the crunch, stickiness or heaviness of traditional texture sprays.

The best bit? You mix it yourself, so you’re in control of how much texture and hold you want.

I’m still testing it on clients in the salon before I launch it, but honestly, I haven’t found anything else that looks, feels or applies quite like it.

For the straight-haired folk, who dream of texture this one’s for you also!

At Wilderness, we’re trying to waste less and grow more.

Human hair contains nitrogen, so instead of sending every haircut to landfill, some of it goes back into the soil in our garden to help support healthy plant growth for the botanicals we use in the salon.

A simple way of making hairdressing a little more circular, sustainable, and connected to the land.
