It’s all about keeping everyone cool on the farm this week.

Every animal is taking shelter in the shade - including our pigs, who have been knocking over troughs, making some fantastic wallows, and giving birth to no less than five new piglets on Monday!

Stock up on some deli treats for a warm weekend ahead!

Take your pick from pies, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, bacon and cheese turnovers, and local cheese, as well as our hugely popular honey roast ham, which we make with pork produced by Paley’s very own Saddleback, Tamworth, and Welsh pigs.

Perfect for a picnic outside in the sunshine.

It’s always a joy to see our herd out and about on the farm!

Our pedigree Sussex cattle and their calves are free to roam through the spring and summer months, grazing our herbal leys, while shading and picking at the hedgerows and trees for up to eight months.

In winter, they’ll be housed in spacious barns and fed a varying diet of meadow hay and clover silage.

With all this recent wet weather we’ve been having, our pigs are well and truly staying put!

We have plenty of warm, dry space for the Saddleback, Tamworth, and Welsh mums and their piglets to take cover when it’s raining. Nestled in the safety and comfort of the farm’s paddocks, they remain protected from the elements all year round with the help of our handy portable arks.
