I'm pleased to be introducing RumboJet 880 AI camera-guided spot spraying, targeting primarily docks, but also other broadleaf w**ds while leaving the surrounding grass untreated.
There are multiple benefits, including:

🌾 Yield – targeted w**d control with less impact on productive grass
💷 Financial – reduced chemical use and potential support through SFI actions

I’m so thrilled to announce that we have won ⭐️⭐️ 2 Stars at the Great Taste Awards this year for our Free Range Bronze Turkeys 🦃🎉

This was one piece of wonderful feedback:
“This has a stunning presentation and has been beautifully cooked, resulting in a fine bronze bird. It smells of warm, earthy savouriness that gets the saliva going. This bird carves beautifully through tender meat on all cuts and angles. Both the white and dark meat are succulent and individually full of flavour, due to natural fats and juices, without any other embellishments. The judges were even more impressed to discover that this had been frozen*. We feel this all reflects on the level of husbandry which has resulted in a very high quality bird - we kept coming back for seconds!
*It was judged in April hence it was frozen

I’m really proud of the achievement and grateful for the opportunity to provide many people with their Christmas centrepieces.


Golden Turkey Farmers

Sadly 3 weeks ago our Alice’s appendix burst, so she underwent surgery- she is now pretty much fully recovered. It’s been a stressful few weeks for us with turkey deliveries as well, but the wonderful thing is she has come out to the shed with me doing checks and she’s developed her confidence and now enjoys spending time with them. Just the therapy she needed.

Our second batch of turkeys have arrived today and they are looking bonny.
Being a small producer we have the ability to take the time and care with our birds. This is one example where we ensure they have a drink as they enter the rings for the first times. We believe that this gives them the best start to life here at Pale Farm.

I honestly can’t quite believe the wonderful words we have received from our customers who support our little turkey farm - thank you. It makes it so worthwhile, as it isn’t easy: it can be quite stressful with the yearly threat of bird flu and the physical work it requires. I’m feeling so truly grateful ☺️
