As part of human nature, sometimes my hopes rise so high that I feel like I should never stop, yet on other days I wonder—will I be the last generation still doing farming? But in between these doubts, I meet enthusiastic young people like them who never let my hope completely fade. One is Arkesh, who came from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, studying the region in search of exemplary regenerative agrotourism farms and happened to meet us, and another is a baini(I forget to ask her name😂)from Nepal, originally from Dharan, who has been pursuing her nursing career in Australia for the past 10 years, whose host family are also permaculturists. She visited my farm on Friday, which is the busiest day of my week, but she still requested to come as she didn’t have much time in Nepal and would soon be returning to Australia. When we first met at my place, she became a bit emotional seeing the way I live and how I have tried to practice permaculture in every possible aspect of my life. She is also planning to start Permaculture farm in Nepal. Moments like these remind me why I keep going. I wish both of you a bright future ahead—love from us.
