Some wins are measured in banners.

This one was measured over 8 years 💜

“This win was extra special because I set a goal for myself long ago when I first started showing in 2018 to win Grand Champion Market Goat at Fair. It was no small feat because it took 8 years to reach that goal.”

Last fall, she set out to find the market goat that would take her through her senior year and found more than that, she found Scott and Erica Batchelder at Starpoint Livestock, a connection that turned into people she now calls family.

Then fair week came. The nerves came with it.

And after eight years of chasing the goal, it all came together.

Not only did she accomplish something she'd been working toward since 2018, but the win marked Scott and Erica's first Grand Champion market animal at a county fair, too.

Some wins are bigger than the backdrop.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this one. We couldn't be prouder to have played a small part in the journey. 💜
