🌧️☔ We have officially had enough of the rain around here! It looks like tomorrow will bring one more round before we finally get a much-needed break. The mud is definitely starting to wear on both Av and me. We are happiest when we can slip on our Crocs and head out to the barn, but that’s just about impossible at the moment! 🤣🐾

Tiny Cocoa, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to mind the mud one bit. She is perfectly content squishing through it all without a care in the world. Honestly, I wish I had her attitude about it! 🐮❤️

Until things dry out, we’ll just keep dreaming of clean boots, mud-free paths, and sunny days ahead. ☀️

This morning brought the sweetest surprise to Texas Rose Ranch! ❤️🐮

Calico welcomed a handsome little bull calf, and we are already smitten with this guy. We can’t wait to watch him grow and see what the future holds. Something tells us he’ll be turning heads in the show ring one day! ✨🏆

Daisy may have been a little spicy when we first brought her home, but one thing has never changed—she has always had a soft spot for Av. ❤️

No matter what kind of mood Daisy is in, she always seems to seek Av out for pets, scratches, and a little extra love. Watching their bond grow has been so special. It’s safe to say Av has Daisy completely wrapped around her finger. 🐮💕

Sometimes the spiciest girls turn out to be the sweetest with their favorite people.

I say all the time that we have way too many dogs. Well, somehow we managed to add another one to the crew! At this point, I think it’s only fair to stop calling them a pack and start referring to them as a herd. 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

💔 I have some sad news… 💔

After much consideration, I’ve decided I simply can’t do it all anymore.

The goats need fed.
The Miniature Zebus demand snacks.
The bunnies expect daily compliments on how cute they are.
The dogs have appointed themselves as management and spend most of the day following me around making sure I’m doing everything correctly.

Something has to go. 😭

FREE to good homes:

🧹 Broom and dustpan
🪣 Mop and bucket
🧺 Laundry baskets (currently doubling as dressers)
🧽 Sponges
🧴 Cleaning sprays
🧼 Dish soap
🪟 Window cleaner
🧦 Matching socks (if you can find them)
🧺 The unfolded laundry on my couch
🛋️ The dream of having a Pinterest-worthy home
😴 Any free time I thought I had before owning animals

Please don’t ask questions. This was not an easy decision.

The goats? They’re staying. 🐐
The Miniature Zebus? They’re staying. 🐮
The bunnies? They’re staying. 🐰
The dogs? They’re staying too… mostly because they know where I sleep. 🐶👀

At this point, if you come to my house and it smells like coffee, hay, and a little bit of chaos… just know we’re making memories. ❤️😂

This is Fayette, our Armenian Gampr Livestock Guardian Dog. ❤️🐾

When Fayette is on duty, I know all of our animals are safe. She takes her job seriously and is always keeping a watchful eye on the goats, cattle, and everything else around the ranch.

A good livestock guardian dog is worth their weight in gold, and Fayette proves that every single day. She is loyal, protective, and dedicated to her herd. We are incredibly thankful to have her helping protect Texas Rose Ranch.

Meet Peaches! 🍑🐰

We recently had the opportunity to add this beautiful 9-week-old English Lop to Texas Rose Ranch, and we just couldn’t pass her up! Those long ears and sweet face completely stole our hearts.

The more time we spend with these bunnies, the more we fall in love with them. They are incredibly sweet, full of personality, and always bring a smile to our faces. At just 9 weeks old, Peaches is already making herself right at home, and we can’t wait to watch her grow.
