Gee Family's Sweet Corn & Pumpkin Patch Gee Family Farm...sweet corn, cornmeal, pumpkins and pecans...grown and sold from our family to you. We grow pumpkins, popcorn, corn mazes and fun!

Gee Family Sweet Corn provides gourmet sweet corn to the Texas Panhandle and beyond. As always, it is picked, cooled and in your hands within 12 hours. Gee Family Fall Daze provides an educational and fun experience for the whole family.

This year marks our 13th season growing and selling Gee Family Farm sweet corn. Thirteen seasons of planting, praying, watering, harvesting, sorting, packing, loading trucks, standing in the heat—and watching our family farm grow because of God and you.

This season, the response to our sweet corn has honestly been overwhelming. We have seen more support, more customers, more preorders, and more love for our farm than we could have imagined. We are humbled and incredibly grateful.

And because of that overwhelming response, we are expanding our sweet corn acreage! For the first time in eight years, we are increasing our production and will be planting sweet corn every week instead of every two weeks. 🌽

That means more corn, more opportunities to serve our customers, and hopefully a little less of that dreaded feeling of “Did I get there in time?” 😂

But beyond the numbers and the acreage, what means the most to us is knowing that families are putting Gee Family Farm sweet corn on their tables, sharing it with friends, freezing it for winter, and making memories around it.

Every ear of corn represents a lot of work—but also a lot of faith.

Thank you for making our 13th season one we will never forget. Thank you for standing in the lines, placing the preorders, sharing our posts, telling your friends, and supporting a family farm.

🌽🌽We had several pre-orders not picked up today. We will sell those at the farm (7651 Whitaker Rd) in the morning Saturday August 29th 9am-12pm for $25 a bushel! First come first serve!

We want to be transparent about the condition of our sweet corn this season. The heat, drought, and hot, dry winds have definitely taken a toll on our crop. On top of that, the recent rain and wind pushed some of our corn down, leaving us hand-picking in a muddy field. It has been a tough harvest, to say the least.

You may also notice some ears with corn s**t. 🌽

Corn s**t is a naturally occurring fungus that can affect corn, especially when plants have experienced stress or certain weather conditions. It is not the same thing as mold or rotten corn, and affected ears are removed from what we sell.

We are sorting every ear as carefully as we possibly can. With the conditions we've faced this year, some ears may not look as perfect as they have in past seasons, but we are doing everything in our power to send you the best corn we have.

Farming is sometimes beautiful, sometimes messy, and sometimes downright hard. ❤️🌽

We are incredibly thankful for this harvest, for the rain we did receive, and most of all for your patience, grace, and support of our small family farm.

Thank you for understanding that every ear of corn represents a whole lot of work, faith, and perseverance. ❤️

🌽 THE FINAL DAY OF SWEET CORN SEASON! 🌽

It’s hard to believe, but August 28th is our LAST sweet corn day of the season! 💛

📍 Gee Family Farm
7651 Whitaker Rd, Amarillo
🕑 2 PM until SOLD OUT

PREORDERS: We are trying something new to help eliminate those long preorder lines! 🙌

When you arrive, there will be a table set up outside where you can pay and/or pick up your order receipt. Once you have your receipt, you can immediately get your corn from the refrigerated truck—no need to stand in the long line!

⏰ Preorders can be picked up anytime between 2–7 PM.

WALK-INS: If you are coming without a preorder, we recommend arriving earlier to help ensure you get your corn. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!

And don’t forget… our pecan sale will continue too! We’ll have plenty of delicious pecans available.
