📣 IMPORTANT BOOKING UPDATE — PLEASE READ 💜

Moving forward, NO dates will be held, penciled in, reserved, or considered booked until the required deposit has been paid.

You are absolutely welcome to wait until a later date to pay your deposit if that works better for you. However, your date will remain completely open and available to other clients until payment is received. I will no longer make arrangements to hold a date with the promise that a deposit will be paid later.

I have tried to be extremely flexible with this because that is naturally who I am. I understand that things happen, budgets change, and sometimes plans simply don’t work out.

But unfortunately, there have been too many times where I have held a date for someone, trusted that the deposit was coming, and then been completely ghosted. No message saying plans changed. No “thank you, but we decided to go another direction.” Nothing.

Meanwhile, I may have turned away another paying client because I was honoring my commitment to hold that date.

I can no longer allow that to happen.

I think sometimes people see small businesses and assume this is something we do on the side for a little extra money. Flavors With Ash is not a side hustle for me. This is my BUSINESS. This is how I take care of my daughters. This is how I pay my bills. This is how I provide for my family. 💜

I pride myself on being extremely easy to work with, budget friendly, flexible, personable, and accommodating. I will continue to be all of those things. But being kind and flexible cannot come at the expense of my business or my family.

So when it comes to my booking policies, I have to operate as a businesswoman first.

Deposit paid = Date secured.
No deposit = Date remains available.

There will be no exceptions moving forward.

And I say all of this with genuine appreciation for every single person who has booked with me, referred me, shared my business, considered working with me, or will trust me with their special occasion in the future. I truly appreciate every opportunity I receive.

I look forward to continuing to provide amazing food, great service, and a smooth experience that allows you to actually enjoy your special day. 💜
