We started weaning today at Haugestuen Ranches! One out of the four summer pasture groups is home...

It's always fun to see the weights come across the scale - those mamas did a good job!

Stay tuned for the next herd... and updates as we continue our weaning season!

WE REMEMBER. 🇺🇸

September 11, 2001 — a day that changed our nation forever.

Today, from Haugestuen Ranches, we pause to remember the innocent lives lost, the families forever changed, and the brave first responders, firefighters, law enforcement officers, military members, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage.

And we remember that freedom is NEVER something to take for granted.

May we teach our children to remember.
May we honor those who gave everything.
May we stand united as Americans.
And may we never forget.

25 years ago. God bless America. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from Haugestuen Ranches! 🇺🇸

Today, we’re proud to be American, thankful for the freedoms we’ve been given, and grateful for the hardworking men and women who continue to build, serve, provide, and strengthen our great nation.

Here on the ranch, we know that hard work is more than just a job—it’s a way of life. We’re thankful for the opportunity to work the land, care for our livestock, provide for our families, and carry on the legacy entrusted to us.

Most of all, we give thanks to God for His blessings and for the hope we have in Him.

“For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.”
— 1 Timothy 4:10

🇺🇸 God bless our families, our farmers and ranchers, our workers, and the United States of America! 🙏

Chopping is done for 2026!

Even with the limited amount of rain this summer we were able to get enough chopped to fill our bags needed to feed the herd thru the Wisconsin winter months 🙏 Still need to purchase a "few more" haybales 🤪

Looking forward to getting the girls all home for feeding & calving season but we are trying to keep them out on pasture as long as we can!

Last weekend we were blessed to host a Pasture Walk at Haugestuen Ranches 😁 Our guests toured two rotationally grazed pastures, a 2 paddock and a 12 paddock, each having about 35 pairs of SimAngus. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and visiting about soil health, growing grasses and raising beef with each of you!

We hope you can join us in 2027!
