šš± New Vendor Spotlight: KATY Poultry š±š
Please help us welcome Kenny and Tiffany Young of KATY Poultry to Farm Hippie Bartlesville!
Like many families, the events of the last several years inspired Kenny and Tiffany to take a closer look at where their food comes from and how it is produced. The more they learned about our food system, the more they felt called to become part of the solutionānot only for their own family, but for their community as well.
With the land they had available, poultry became the perfect place to start.
Today, KATY Poultry is dedicated to raising pasture-raised chicken with intention and care. Their birds spend their days outdoors with sunshine, fresh air, and room to move. They are rotated daily on pasture and fed fresh-milled grains from Bartlett Co-op, creating a product that reflects the kind of farming values they believe in.
As Kenny puts it:
"This is chicken like you remember it."
Anyone who has tasted truly fresh, locally raised chicken understands exactly what he means.
KATY Poultry offers a variety of products including whole chickens, ground chicken, chicken sausage, and smoked chicken meat sticks, with even more exciting additions on the horizon. Their newest adventures include chicken steaks and meatballs, bringing even more options to families looking for quality local protein.
One challenge they face is keeping up with demand. Fresh pasture-raised chicken takes approximately seven weeks to grow, and their goal is always to keep their shelves stocked while continuing to expand production to serve more customers.
We love vendors who are constantly looking for ways to innovate, improve, and offer something unique, and KATY Poultry is doing exactly that.
If you're looking for locally raised chicken, new flavors, and products you won't typically find elsewhere, be sure to stop by Farm Hippie Bartlesville and check out KATY Poultry.
Thank you, Kenny and Tiffany, for helping bring more locally raised food to our community and for trusting Farm Hippie to be part of your journey. š
