A little different view on the farm this morning. My husband is a waterfowl guide and we finally had the chance to hunt geese on the farm. Thanks to him, I was able to bag my very first goose. Even more special that I got my first on the farm.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our patriarch, Clarence Bennett.

Clarence was the third generation of our family to call Sand Rock Ranch home, and so much of what this ranch is today was built on the foundation he laid.

He moved the farm to the hilltop, grew the Hereford herd, added buildings, bought land, and spent a lifetime doing what farmers and cattlemen do—working hard, taking care of what was entrusted to him, and leaving things a little better for the next generation.

But Clarence’s greatest legacy isn’t measured in acres, cattle, or buildings.

It’s measured in family.

For us, “5 Generations Strong” has never just been a saying. Clarence was a very important part of the reason we can say it.

We are incredibly grateful for the years we had with him, for the stories he shared, the lessons he taught, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest easy.
Your work here is done. ❤️ Go tend to the pasture of Herefords waiting for you in heaven.

When it's 97% humidity at 7 a.m. and it's not raining, it's going to be a cooker of a day. Not very often I break the shorts out at the farm, but today is the day.

Sherwin Williams should really consider naming a paint Farmer White! 🤣

If you see Kylie Monson today wish her a happy 24th Birthday. And if you see Bully Bull well then he’s not where he’s supposed to be and call Stacy.
