That’s what John Strohfus of Field Theory Farms told us when we asked why he took a bet on growing heirloom corn.

John doesn’t have to grow heirloom. He chooses to. Growing heirloom corn for food, flavor and a future beyond the commodity system, means making room for something different. He believes these special varieties are worth keeping alive.

Spending time on his farm reminded us why we’re so passionate about what we do. We believe in heirloom and real food, and we’re grateful for family farmers like Brian who believe in it right alongside us.

Here’s to growing something worth passing on. 🌱🌽

EURO INSPIRED SUMMER SWEET TREAT 🇬🇷✨

Summer may be coming to a close, but we’re squeezing in one last Euro Summer sweet treat with Nounós Creamery and Gabi Dimitrova ☀️

Creamy Greek yogurt layered with chocolate and crushed Pip’s Cinnamon Sugar Twists for a chocolate-covered churro-inspired parfait cheesecake. 🤎

Sweet, creamy, crunchy, and the perfect send-off to summer. No plane ticket required. ✈️

Chocolate-Covered Cinnamon Churro Cheesecake Dip 🍫✨

You’ll need:
• 1 cup Nounós Vanilla Greek Yogurt
• ¼ cup cottage cheese, blended smooth
• 1 tsp vanilla paste
• 1 tsp pudding mix
• Pinch of salt
• Cinnamon, to taste
• Crushed Pip’s Cinnamon Sugar Twists
• Melted chocolate
• Whole Pip’s Cinnamon Sugar Twists for dipping

To make:
Blend the cottage cheese with a splash of water until smooth, then stir it into the Greek yogurt. Add the vanilla paste, pudding mix, salt, cinnamon, and crushed Pip’s Twists and mix until creamy.

Layer into a cup or bowl with melted chocolate in between, finish with another chocolate layer on top, and grab your Pip’s Twists for dipping. 🍫
