9 month old Dexter "steer", Uno, in search of a new address. I suspect I missed a testicle at banding, which is why I put steer in quotations. It appears he has one hugged up to his belly, which explains his bull like physique.
Uno is approximately 300 pounds currently. He has been weaned for a few months now and is grass fed except for daily range cubes and sunflower seeds to keep them coming when called. Vaccination/antibiotic free.
Uno is easy to work and stays fat on air. Will make an excellent grow out. Dexters are a small frame breed known for excellent beef and can be raised on small acreage. Uno respects hot wire, but has a nose for when the current is off. Would not recommend he be contained where there's no field or barbed wire perimeter fencing.
