Today, we think the girls deserve a shoutout. 🐔🥚

Here’s a little trivia for y’all: How many eggs do you think we collect in a day? Take a guess before you peek at the comments!

Our hens have been working hard, but they just haven’t always been able to keep up with y'all! We promise we're all trying to keep up with the demand and really do appreciate your patience. The good news is the girls are feeling a whole lot better now that the Texas heat has finally backed off. That should mean more eggs making their way into the baskets.❤️

And in case you didn’t know, Sandy hand-washes every single egg that comes out of the coops!! There’s a little more work behind those cartons than you might have thought.

We’re pretty fond of all these hard-working ladies around here. Poultry and human. 😉
