We had the honor of creating the visual identity for Motherland: The Integration Guide by Julia Bond.

Created to support women through the profound transition into motherhood, Motherland called for a brand identity that felt both grounded and nurturing. Through thoughtful typography, an earthy color palette, and a custom mark, we developed a visual system designed to reflect themes of growth, guidance, transformation, and care.

The final identity balances softness and strength, creating a foundation that supports the heart of Julia’s work while inviting women into the experience she has so intentionally created.

We’re grateful to have played a small part in bringing this vision to life.

Montana never hired Taylor Sheridan. There was no brief, no brand strategy session, no stakeholder approval. He just told a story and as a side effect, rewrote the identity of an entire state.

It's a case study in what happens when you don't own your narrative. Someone else steps in and writes it for you. And you don't get a revision round.
