We’re sharing our September Round Up recipient a few days early because Hampden is hosting a Run for Recovery tomorrow, and we wanted to help bring some extra awareness to this important cause.

This September, we’re asking for your help in supporting Tessa’s House, a treatment center dedicated to helping adult women overcome addiction — a need that affects far too many women and families across our state and nation.

On a more personal note, Tessa was a truly beautiful human being. Her sparkling eyes and bright smile had a way of lifting even the darkest of moods. The fact that her family has taken the unimaginable sadness of losing her and created something that offers hope, healing and a second chance to other women is truly remarkable.
