First hay cutting for 2026 is in full swing. To all of the hay experts out there, I am new to cutting hay. (My 3rd year ever) I have a drum mower which this is the 3rd year I have used it. (purchased new) It mowed great in the past, but this year it left a streak of uncut hay. Unfortunately, the hay was so thick that I didn't notice it until I raked the hay. Any ideas what may cause this? Any constructive thoughts and ideas are greatly appreciated.
