Meet Whirlybird - our new cocktail line! First up: a real Gin & Tonic. Botanical gin, crisp tonic, a heavy spritz of lime, 6% abv. Early reviews from our soft launch over the last couple of weeks keep landing on the same word: refreshing.

It's pouring on draft in Brunswick, and 4-packs of sleek 12oz cans to-go from the brewery only.

Something agave is next out of the hangar. 👀 🌵

On top of our normal open hours, we have some special events happening:

Fri 8/14 - The Jazz Coast at Home Base (Brunswick), 6-8pm (pictured here at a recent event at The Abbey!)
Sat 8/15 - Always, Sometimes plays the Bath beer garden, 5-7pm
Wed 8/19 - 20% of every sale goes to Tedford Housing, 4pm to close (yes, every sale - pizza, beer, merch…we don't skimp!)
Thu 8/20 - Mere Point shucking oysters from 4pm, Trivia w/ Go Fig Trivia at 6pm 🦪
Fri 8/21 - Matt Newberg, full band, 6-8pm
**Sat 8/22 - DelRain at Home Base**, 6-8pm. Brunswick, this a special Saturday live music performance!

Tedford Housing: Everybody deserves a place to land. Tedford Housing runs the Midcoast's emergency shelter and housing programs, about two miles up the road from us - 12,416 nights last year for people who had nowhere else to go. Their new shelter on Thomas Point Road opened this winter with 24 beds plus 10 private units for families with kids, and all of it has to get funded again next year. Come have dinner Wednesday and let it do double duty.

Plus...the Maine Maritime Museum (Bath) beer garden is open Fridays and Saturdays, 12-8. Free, and open to everybody. We're closing that spot for the season in mid-September, which is five weekends from now. Sorry to be the ones to tell you. ☀️

From fútbol to football - sportsball season keeps rolling. 🏈

This crew claimed a table at Homebase (Brunswick) last night, taped a draft board to the window, and made a whole evening of it.

That's exactly what the space is for. Bring the league, bring the kids, spread out and stay a while. We'll handle the food and drink.

Extra credit to whoever took a kicker in the 9th round. Bold.

The GOAT, on a boat.

P-3 Pale Ale is named for the plane in our logo - the sub hunter that flew out of Brunswick Naval Air Station for decades, patrolling this exact stretch of coast.

Not that long ago you'd have looked up from this deck and seen the real thing pass overhead. Today, you get to enjoy it as a beer in your hand, enjoying moments like a Maine Maritime Museum lighthouse cruise.

We've got lots to smile about this summer!

Among them, is yet another nomination for the 'Best of the Midcoast' award. While we don't set out trying to earn awards like this, it's a nice recognition that our team takes to heart. As an added (and significant) bonus, our neighbors and collaborators at Wild Oats Bakery & Café and Morning Glory Natural Foods are ALSO nominated - if you'd be so kind as to toss in your vote for all three, it would be amazing honor to celebrate an award-winning block at our annual Block Party, coming up this September 12th!
