Second class today, another kids “paint it and plant it” class! Lots of folks have been asking for these classes and with Rachel from Lemon Thumbs help, we were finally able to make it happen! The second group today were the older cool 😎 kids so even though there wasn’t any piglet chasing like the morning class, we still had a great time! Thank you everyone who made this day so much fun, please come see me again soon!

Ok, I’ve taught almost 400 classes in the last 4-1/2 years and sure, I’ve had my favorites but my first class today was SO fun!!! Rachel from Lemon Thumb assisted me with a kids “paint it and plant it” class! We started off by painting these adorable wooden boxes, then took a trip to the greenhouse to plant flowers, vegetables, whatever they wanted from my large collections of starts! Then the fun REALLY BEGAN with feeding the piglets marshmallows, visiting the field of newborn calves, and then visiting each of our 3 chickens coops so the kids could get a close look. We had 8 kids, most 5-7 year old and with their curious minds and willingness to do it all, they were so fun! Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who brought their littles out today. I know it’s easier to just “not to” but we had such a great time with you and your kids discovering our sweet little farm! 🎨
