Just a shout out to Cutsforths Thriftway in Canby! They have one of the best meat markets around! Chris and his team...Ryan, Phil, Alex, Dylan and Libni...really know their stuff. They have tons of experience, know everything about meat, and can answer just about any question you might have. Plus they carry a wide assortment of meats and seafood. Beef, pork, local lamb, chicken, duck, goose, bison, venison, elk...they have it. Plus all manner of seafood! They give wonderful service, as well. Check them out!

Lamb...it's what's for dinner! This is a 2.67 lb half boneless leg of lamb, generously salted and peppered, stuffed with 1/2 cup of pesto. Ready for the grill or smoker. Roast to an internal temp of 130°F. Sublime!

It was a perfect day for shearing at SuDan Farm! The weather was fantastic, and 35 beautiful Border Leicesters and Coopworths got "fleeced." Thank you to Michael and Halley Estes, Joanie, Luke, and the 3 kiddos for your help. Kuzco the llama enjoyed supervising. Glad that job is done!

We just got 18 beautiful sheepskins from the tannery yesterday! We will have some of them at the PSU market this Saturday. A few are natural and the rest are white. Most are curley. First come, first serve. Market hours are 8:30-2.
